Corporate and Foundation Relationships Program Coordinator – Position Filled

General Description of Duties

Under the general supervision of the Executive Director and guided by the Program Director, the Corporate and Foundation Relationships (CFR) Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of an integrated donor relations program that encompasses best practices and strategically targets long-term funding for ARCD’s Farmacy and Farmacy Fit programs which are nutrition incentive programs through regional farmers market and local grocers.

This is a ten month, half-time (average 25 hours per week) with potential to become a permanent position.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Using the knowledge of ARCD programs and policies, promotes the ARCD in the community and interacts with other ARCD personnel, volunteers, and staff to meet the goals of the program. Participates in ARCD activities as required.

  • Oversees development and stewardship of corporate and foundation fundraising activities for ARCD.
  • Works directly with the Executive Director to integrate targeted fundraising activities into ARCD’s current and long-range fundraising and development plans.
  • Coordinates with Program Directors to develop grant funding for ARCD.
  • Coordinates with ARCD’s Marketing and Communications Director (MCD) to ensure accuracy and consistency of communications.
  • Coordinates with the Executive Director and MCD to ensure positive volunteer experiences and cultivate volunteer and community partner engagement.
  • Works closely with all Program Directors to ensure continuous grant compliance.
  • Manages eTapestry donor database system and ensures accurate data entry, gift processing, and timely acknowledgements to all donors.
  • Cultivates relationships with current and prospective funders and supporters.
  • Plans, implements, and leads fundraising special events.
  • Works closely with volunteer committees to cultivate and secure event sponsorship support and in-kind donations.
  • Supervises coordination of event contractors, vendors, volunteers, and staff for special events.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality of donor and client information.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of fundraising or stewardship experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills and writing expertise, an understanding of the mission of the ARCD, and enthusiasm for the people served and the programs created.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in person, by phone, and in writing, with a high degree of professionalism.
  • Evidence of grant writing/coordination, successful event management, sponsorship acquisition, donor stewardship required.
  • Experience managing donor database systems, and/or ability to quickly learn new database management. Highest attention to detail required.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational, analytical and planning skills, and a desire to work with diverse constituencies.
  • Must have an attitude and spirit of service to the community and possess the ability to think creatively, work under pressure and within time constraints, and work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google applications (sheets, docs, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business Management or similar programs

Compensation & Benefits

  • $20,000 (average 25 hours per week for 10 months)
