Come Out & Meet Your Farmer!

2019 Kingsport CSA Fair
Where: Kingsport Farmers Market Pavilion
When: March 2 | 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

We’re excited to bring the CSA Fair series back to the Model City in 2019! This is a wonderful way to connect with local farmers and become engaged in your food system. This gives you the chance to explore healthy food options while supporting our regional agriculture economy. Your family gets to eat the freshest produce and goods our region offers while supporting a farming family. This year, the Kingsport Fair will include 5 farmers and producers.  This list gives a brief description of what they have to offer as each farm runs their CSA differently. For more information about an individual farm and their offerings take a look at their website or Facebook page and  join us at the Fair!

“We are passionate about people, plants and animals, we believe in being good stewards of the land and reducing as much waste as possible. We are grateful to be able to offer 100% compostable containers and packaging in order to do our small part in helping our local ecosystem to be healthier and to reduce greenhouse gases in our States local landfills. Our small farm can’t change the world, but our farm can make a difference. We grow food without pesticides, utilizing NO TILL regenerative farming techniques that I have mastered for the past 19 years.

We are also a teaching farm offering work share apprenticeships and classes. We encourage farm visits for those wanting to join our CSA. CSAs are not for everyone, so please ask questions and know what you are committing to before joining. Know your farmer.
We would love to serve you!”
