Farmer Focused
Training the next generation of farmers & gardeners
For over a decade, ARCD has provided accessible, informational and relevant training for beginning gardens, beginning farmers, and experienced farmers and producers throughout Northeast Tennessee.
We offer a number of programs including Build It Up Backyard Gardening, Summer and Winter Field School Farmer Business Intensives, and individual specialty workshops that hone in on more specific agricultural practices.
Build It Up
Build It Up guides families through a year of organic gardening education, support and supplies to grow healthy, fresh food right in their own backyards.
ARCD hosts several specialty workshops throughout the year to go more in depth on specific agriculture practices, marketing, business, and other specialty topics.
Subscribe to the ARCD newsletter for information about future Women Learning Circles.
Women Farmer Learning Circles is a monthly gathering of women from around the region coming together to learn more skills and tricks of the agricultural trade.
