A Farm-To-Table Dinner
All proceeds raised at this event go right back into our programs that serve the people and communities of Northeast Tennessee.
Join us for Appalachian Fusion, a farm-to-table dinner, prepared from fresh, locally-sourced ingredients by Chef Deidra Harruff. Chef Deidra’s menu will revolve around delectable French Provencal cuisine marked with an Appalachian flair.
The menu is as follows:
Hors d’ouvres: Smoked Trout on Crostini, and Truffled Egg Salad Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes
Salad: Green Salad with Apples, Roasted Walnuts, and Citrus Vinaigrette
Soup: Fall Vegetable Bisque
Entree: Beef Provencal Daube with Butter & Chive Mashed Potatoes, and Roasted Seasonal Vegetables
Plain or Cheddar Biscuits
Dessert: Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce
This year’s event will be held on September 8 at the Kingsport Farmers Market, located at 308 Clinchfield St from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Guests may arrive at 5:30 to enjoy appetizers, complimentary cocktails (while supplies last), and a silent auction while enjoying live music. Please plan to arrive by 6:00. Seating for dinner begins at 6:30
