Find Local Food

Because good food starts with local roots. With a farmers market open 6 days a week there are more ways than ever to get connected with your local farmer. It’s good for your health and good for our community.

Farmers Markets

Discover local food 6 days a week at area Farmers Markets. At farmers markets, not only does your dollar buy the freshest ingredients, but 100% of that dollar goes into the pocket of my neighbor, which means more money staying local.

SNAP-EBT

Discover how using EBT to buy local food, “is a SNAP”. Your guide to which area markets take SNAP and how to make your SNAP benefits go farther with Double Up Food Bucks.

Farm Tour

Discover why agritourism is a critical part of the farm economy. Every year in June, you have the chance to experience how your local food is grown on the Farm Tour. One car pass gains you entry on a self-guided and self-paced tour with demonstrations, tastings, and educational talks.

CSAs

Discover a CSA near you. Though each farm does it differently, a traditional CSA is the purchase of a subscription to a farm at the beginning of the growing season. This allows to farm the capital to invest up front, and ensures you receive a weekly portion of the harvest. This makes it easier to incorporate local fresh food, discover new fruits and veggies, and support your farmer.
