We’ve moved our popular CSA Fair to historic Jonesborough, TN this year. Come out and meet your farmer, enjoy a stroll through downtown and grab a bite to eat at one of the wonderful local favorites.
The CSA Fair gives you the chance to explore healthy food options while supporting our regional agriculture economy. Your family gets to eat the freshest produce and goods our region offers while supporting a farming family. This year, the Jonesborough Fair will include 5 farmers and producers. Our CSA will run from May 18th and end Sept 28th. We will base our shares on our current prices. We are giving our customers an option of we choose or they choose $30 per week. With the we choose option we will give each customer approximately 10% more in their share. We will be offering a full share for $600 and a half share for $300. We will have a Tuesday we pick option that can be picked up at Stanley’s Auto Repair or at our farm between 6-7pm. We will also be offering Saturday pick up at the Johnson CIty Farmers Market- the Saturday pickup will be we pick or you pick. We offer Certified Naturally Grown Produce and we only sell what we grow. We also love to talk to our customers about how to prepare our produce and give tips and recipes that we love, because if we grow it, we eat it. We love to talk to our customers about how our produce is grown and our love of farming so they can always feel free to ask us anything.

We are a year-round CSA offering large ($39) and small ($29) farm shares as well as bakery shares and farm fresh eggs. Our farm shares are fully customizable. We offer multiple pick up schedules to meet your family’s needs. Pick up weekly, biweekly, or monthly. We offer pick up at either locations of the Main Street Pizza Company, in downtown Johnson City or Kingsport. We also offer home or business delivery.

Our CSA runs May through the end of October. We have 3 share sizes: a 1/2 share is intended for a single person or couple that doesn’t cook often – produce is distributed in one-serving portions. $288/season. Full-shares are meant for a couple or small family – produce is distributed in 2-4 person servings, $460/season. Family shares are for larger families or folks wanting to do food preservation $600/season. Members receive between 6-10 different vegetables and herbs each week. We run for 24 weeks. Additionally, members receive free admission to all farm events. We would love to serve you!

We deliver to homes, restaurants and offices twice monthly all year round. Subscriptions range from $14 to $40 per delivery for 1/2 trays up to 1 and 1/2 trays of select microgreens. We do live trays or harvested. It’s a perfect way to get fresh local produce year round. Our current delivery area is Kingsport, Johnson City, and some of Jonesborough.
Trosly Farm – Delivery locations in Johnson City, TN and Banner Elk, NC
Trosly Farm is a family run farm in the mountains of Avery County. We grow vegetables, herbs, and cut flowers using bio-dynamic and bio-intensive methods. Our CSA runs from April-December and we offer several options for shares and payment plans. Members get a box of seasonal veggies along with a loaf of our European style bread each week. When available, add ons like meat and eggs can be added to your box. Members also get access to our Members Forum for recipes, gardening advice and info about our members only gatherings throughout the season.
Rain Crow Farm – Delivery locations in Jonesborough and Johnson City
We are a small-scale farm located in Johnson City, TN. Because we are on a smaller plot of land (1/4 acre) all of our farm practices are based on efficiency. While we are not certified organic, we believe in organic farming and strive to go beyond certification. That means we do not use any herbicides, pesticides, treated seeds, or GMO seeds. Each week you will receive the freshest 6-8 seasonal vegetables and herbs from the farm. A share is a good fit for 1-3 people. If you live in a household with a large family or you are a serious vegetable eater we recommend buying two shares. Our CSA offers market style pick-up. To prevent excess waste we encourage members to bring their own reusable bags or baskets. All vegetables will be laid out in either bunches, weights, or bags (salad greens). Labels will be next to each vegetable informing members what to take and how much. We try to offer as much choice as possible, allowing members to pick and choose vegetables as often as we can.
