The local food expo has been rescheduled for same time and place (5:30, 123 E. Main St at Old Quarters in Jonesborough) for FEBRUARY 23 due to inclement weather. Registration has been extended.

On Monday, February 16th, come on out to the second Tricities Farm-to-Business Mixer supported by the TN Department of Agriculture at the low cost of $15.00. You must register online before Feb 15th, see link below.

During this fun networking event you will get face time with area producers/growers of local produce, meat, and dairy AND area buyers of local food. Together, in the same rooms, around the same tables.

Boone Street Market of Jonesborough will be our host, at Old Quarters (123 East Main Street), so come out to see how you can become a vendor, or buy from, this unique store that sources everything from within 100 miles.

After all, LOCAL is BIG and it’s here to stay.  if you are a grower, selling your product profitably to new markets is all about making relationships with buyers… Whether you are a serious seasoned grower or an aspirational one, all are welcome.

And if you are a buyer (such as a chef or distributor or grocer or nutritional coordinator), securing reliable high quality product to impress your customers is all about making relationships with growers. Whether you are the chef at an all-local eatery, or one who wants a piece of the local movement, all are welcome.

All attendees will been given the chance to rotate around and talk with everyone else. Refreshments featuring local seasonal ingredients will be provided by Boone Street Market and Main Street Cafe.
